Plum Creek Named to Dow Jones Sustainability World Index

Plum Creek Timber Co. Inc. (NYSE:PCL) today announced that DowJones has named the company to its Dow Jones Sustainability WorldIndex (DJSI World). The DJSI World comprises more than 300 of theleading sustainability companies out of the biggest 2,500 companiesworldwide. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are the firstglobal indexes tracking the financial performance of the leadingsustainability-driven companies worldwide. The DSJI World captures the top 10 percent of companies based onlong-term economic, environmental and social criteria. Theunderlying research evaluates corporations based on a variety ofcriteria including climate change strategies, energy consumption,human resources development, knowledge management, stakeholderrelations and corporate governance.
